Asian Fried Mushrooms

|1 cup||Shore Lunch® Fish Beer Batter Mix|
|8 oz||club soda or beer|
|2 tsp||black sesame seeds|
|1 tsp||soy sauce|
|8 oz||shitake mushrooms, cleaned and stemmed|
|4 cup||vegetable oil|
|Prepared dumpling sauce|
Heat the oil in a large stock pot to 350 ºF.
Add the batter, sesame seeds, and soy sauce to a medium sized mixing bowl. Slowly whisk in the club soda.
Dredge each mushroom into the batter and carefully drop directly into the oil. Fry for 1 minute per side. Using a slotted metal spoon remove the fried mushrooms from the oil to a plate lined with paper towels.
Serve immediately with the dumpling sauce.
