| 1 cup | Shore Lunch Fish Beer Batter Mix |
| 1½ cup | Diced Fuji apples, skins removed |
| ½ cup | Granulated sugar |
| ¼ cup | Milk |
| 1 | Large egg, beaten |
| ½ tsp | Baking powder |
| 1 tsp | Ground cinnamon |
| ¼ tsp | Ground cloves |
| ½ cup | Powdered sugar |
| 1 Tbsp | Water |
| 4 cup | Vegetable oil |
Heat the oil in a large stock pot to 350 ºF.
Add the batter, egg, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and cloves to a medium sized mixing bowl. Whisk in the milk. Add the apples and stir to combine.
Carefully drop the fritter batter by large tablespoons into the oil, fry in batches, for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
Add the powdered sugar to a small bowl and slowly add the water. Stir until thin enough to drizzle over the fritters.
Using a slotted metal spoon remove the fritters from the oil to a platter lined with paper towels. Drizzle the fritters with the icing and serve immediately.
