Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large stock pot to 350 ºF.
  2. Add the breading, sugar, and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon to a medium sized mixing bowl. Slowly whisk in the milk.
  3. Dredge each banana piece in the batter and carefully drop into the oil, fry in batches, for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Combine the remaining ground cinnamon and the brown sugar in a small bowl.
  5. Using a slotted metal spoon remove the bananas from the oil to a platter lined with paper towels.
  6. Sprinkle the fried bananas with the cinnamon and sugar and serve on a popsicle stick.
