Directions

  1. Add the butter and vegetable oil to a large stockpot over medium high heat. Add the onions and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add the rice and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  2. Add the soup and water to the pot, stir to combine and bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add the chicken to the pot and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Serve immediately.
