Directions

  1. Add the butter and vegetable oil to a large stock pot over medium high heat. Add the rice and sauté for 2-3 minutes stirring constantly.
  2. Add the cumin, curry powder, soup, and water to the pot and stir to combine. Bring the water to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the raisins and the almonds. Serve immediately.
