Directions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large stockpot to 375 °F.
  2. Add the Shore Lunch® Fish Breading Mix and Old Bat seasoning to a shallow dish.
  3. Dredge each piece of catfish into the breading mixture and press to coat.
  4. Add the catfish to the oil and fry in batches for 4-6 minutes.
  5. Carefully remove the catfish from the oil using long handled metal tongs and place directly onto a paper towel lined plate.
  6. Serve immediately.
